  • Here are HQ scans of Rachel in the latest issue of Hello Magazine which came out today. The magazine joins Rachel and her family – husband Alex and daughter’s Amelie and Minnie while on a recent family holiday in Portugal. Rachel talks about enjoying their holiday, Minnie taking her first steps, the recent S Club 7 tour, motherhood and also mentions that all members of S Club agreed to meet up “a few months” after the tour to discuss everything… so who know’s what is next.

I only have an A4 size scanner, and Hello magazine is much larger so it’s a little difficult to fit the pages in without cutting off some edges, so i’ve tried my best to scan so that the pictures are viewable aswell as the text.

Rachel has announced that she will be a judge at this years Junior Design Awards. This will be Rachel’s third year being involved

via Rachel Stevens Official – As you know, I’ve been a judge for the Junior Awards for three years now and I’m so excited to be asked back again for this year’s awards in September.

I’ll be taking care of the fashion segment again this year and love being part of the team. Seeing the products in all the categories and finding new brands like Angel and Rocket and Belle Enfant who both won last year, is always great and I have to be honest, judging these awards does come with a slight shopping warning – everything we see has the potential to come home with me!

The competition is now open and judging will take place in September. I’ll keep you posted on my finds!

Another series of The Voice of Ireland has been given the green light, and according to the source, all 4 judges including Rachel will return.

    via evoke.ie –
RTE has commissioned series five of The Voice of Ireland, despite considering alternative formats from three separate franchises.
The talent show, which brought in an average of 500,000 per episode this season, beat off still competition from an Irish version of Strictly Come Dancing and Ireland’s Got Talent.

Una Foden, Rachel Stevens, Kian Egan and Bressie will return as coaches on the hit show.

There was also a third option, which saw contestants sing their favourite tracks from the great Irish Song Book.
A well placed RTE source told EVOKE.ie that while they had considered other alternative formats for that coveted Sunday night slot, The Voice was the right choice for this year.

‘The fact of the matter is that The Voice is an established show and it gives us over 40 hours of television. That is big bang for our buck,’ the source said.

‘That is why we have gone with it over some maybe, other formats. It did great numbers for us so we stuck with it. That does not mean that the other shows will not be considered in the future.’
The decision was made by RTÉ television following a tender process for programme ideas for the Sunday evening slot which was open to independent production companies.

Commenting on the announcement, Adrian Lynch, Channel Controller for RTÉ One, said, ‘The Voice of Ireland has been a hugely popular show for RTE One and the fourth series continued to attract really strong audiences.
‘While we considered some very strong proposals as part of the tender process, we believe The Voice of Ireland represents the best option for Sunday nights on RTÉ One in the New Year.

‘We’re confident that it will continue to be appointment to view family entertainment. We look forward to working with Screentime ShinAwil on what we are sure will be another great series.’
The fourth series of The Voice of Ireland on RTÉ One regularly attracted over 500,000 viewers every Sunday evening.

It has just been announced that Rachel will host the Butterfly Ball alongside Mark Wright on June 25th.

    via Rachel Stevens Official –
Rachel and Mark have been announced as the hosts for this year’s Butterfly Ball. The duo will over see proceedings at the star-studded annual fundraising event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday 25th June, which last year raised over £2.5 million pounds for the charity.

Rachel said, “Recently I spent three days with the charity on one of their projects, Destination Dreams, taking families whose children are very unwell to spend time together in Florida with Caudwell Children’s amazing team of volunteers and specialists on hand to ensure that they have the upmost in care and support. To see the families enjoy this really special time together, and to see the difference it makes to them was very special. It inspired me to do whatever I can to help so when I was asked to host their annual Butterfly Ball, which I’ve attended as a guest many times, of course I said yes.

This year will be even more special to me having spent time with some of the families who will be there and I’m looking forward to working with Mark and to helping the charity raise funds to help even more people across the UK.’

Headlining the performances for the evening will be one of the best selling artists of all time, Lionel Richie as well as classical singer Paul Potts and Motown legend Tito Jackson
